Our History

Commercial Ink was founded as a graphic design firm in 2004 with 3 clients, all of which remain clients today.  After working with several agencies for a variety of companies, Kaleb Harrell and Wayne Yung found that many advertising agencies were over-priced and didn’t produce results.  Marketing firms, on the other hand, tended to lack creativity.  The entrepreneurs decided to integrate the two, forming a strategic marketing agency that would offer creativity, when needed, and bottom-line driven marketing, when needed.

In 2007, the economy began to collapse – and Commercial Ink’s clients grew their businesses!  By marketing in ways that were as cost effective as they were creative, the companies began to gain market share while competitors fell.  In the first quarter of 2009, considered to be one of the worst quarters in the last 75 years of our economy, Commercial Ink achieved it’s best quarter ever.  Even more importantly, every client claimed positive growth in revenue from the previous quarter.
 
Today, Commercial Ink continues to grow and work with a variety of companies from a range of industries, including health care, retail, real estate, and hospitality.
